    Going out to dinner tonight. A friend is staying with us for the weekend and is buying dinner tonight for us.

    Coupon4me, your crab cakes with asparagus sounds delicious! Let us know if you liked the new restaurant you're trying. DW and I are going to try to go out once a month for a date night and are always looking for restaurant suggestions.

    JDouglas isn't asparagus just the best? I had it out last night with my crab cakes!
    Tonight will be a date night and we are hoping to try a new restaurant but who knows which one!

    I forgot to add that Plan C may involve something with pesto -- pasta and shrimp? -- because I have a huge amount of basil in the garden right now!

    Faye, you might want to hide that popsicle in a bag of frozen broccoli or something! ;)

    I have a lot of asparagus, and if I don't cook out tonight (burgers or steak from the freezer) and grill it, I am going to make cold cream of asparagus soup.

    After a couple days of eating out with my out of town family (had delicious sushi last night!), I'll be eating much lighter tonight. It's just me this evening so I am having an egg white omelet with sauteed spinach, kale, onions and tomatoes topped with salsa. Whole Fruit popsicle for dessert - the 60 calorie Strawberry Apple ones from HT SD recently are delicious.
