Kathy S., your London broil recipe sounds delicious! I picked one up this afternoon -- thanks for the reminder about the FL sale, Faye. I plan to marinate it overnight in soy sauce, Worcestershire, EVOO, and garlic, and grill it tomorrow.

Not sure about tonight. Something easy though. Maybe more of Raesmom's mozz stuffed meatballs that I cooked and froze a few weeks ago in tomato sauce over pasta. Strawberries, maybe shortcake, for dessert.

    Everyone's menus sound good today!

I think we will either burgers on the grill with on sale meat at whole foods with Alexia fries or maybe it is a spaghetti and meatball kind of night with the same meat.....we'll see in about an hour :-)

crockpot london broil (on sale at FL) cooked with sliced potatoes, carrots, onions and mushrooms (added 1/2 cup marsala wine to the broth at the bottom of the crockpot). Will turn broth into gravy. Broth is from chicken/beef bone broth that I keep in the fridge. Time to make a new pot of broth.

meredith88 - I love your menu tonight! So many good proteins, veggies and who can go wrong with chips and queso?! Have fun with your company.

We are having company over for dinner tonight. We will have an interesting menu since everything is being made by request from our guests. So we are having a loaded salad, pao de queso (a Brasilian finger food similar to mozzarella sticks.... ish), tacos with all the toppings, calabacitas (a Mexican side dish made of squash), rice, refried beans, corn, tortilla chips, and queso. I'm sure my husband will make some sort of dessert as well... that's his favorite part of having people over for dinner :-)

Tonight it's leftover brown sugar bourbon slow cooker shredded chicken breast served on a big green salad with lots of veggies. Roasted asparagus on the side. Kemp's vanilla frozen yogurt with blackberries for dessert. :-)
