Ascherer, your dinner sounds wonderful! Happy Easter and enjoy your family time. :)

Raesmom, enjoy your baked ziti! I have to confess that the visual of Rae and food coloring is a scary one!! ;) You'll have to tell me how it went!

Soup sounds tummy Faye! Awesome of you to bring that over jdouglas!! ;)

Tonight I am making......baked ziti!! Its the first time since baby ziti was born that I am getting into the kitchen to make it....cutting up the veggies, Browning the meat and boiling the water for the noodles. Its been so long since I've had so many lots on the stove at once. Usually I just throw something quick in the oven. I guess you can say I'm back :) Maybe I'll do some cookies or brownies as dessert.

The baked ziti will be our Sunday dinner. We have a long day tomorrow between a kids birthday party and a wedding we won't be home to eat tomorrow so we will have it for leftovers on Sunday (after community day at church) along with the eggs that Rae and I are getting ready to color and a salad. Happy Easter yall

Tonight is pan grilled shrimp and scallops. Sides are salad and a loaded baked potato for me and a loaded sweet potato for DH.

Our big Easter celebration is at my BIL house Sunday morning. DH's Sister is making the feast. I am not sure what I am taking yet.

Gator Girll -- thanks for your help with the onion rings! :) I will definitely have to get some for DW. In almost 26 years, I've never made them for her. I hope you are doing better today. How long are you off your feet for?

YBAverage, your menu sounds delicious, especially the lemon meringue pie. Yum! Enjoy your night off from cooking. :)

JDOUGLAS - I posted to you on yesterday's blog about the Alexis Onion Rings. We love them.

I have no idea what is for dinner tonight. I'm hoping my DH will take me shopping or I'll get inspired enough to make a list that he might pick up for me.
