Totally has to toss it m I threw everything in the crock pot at 8 am before I left for work....I was wondering why I didn't smell anything when I walked in the house lol

raesmom1612 - YUM on the Carrabba's! Did you discover the slow cooker error in time to save the stew meat or did you have to toss it?

jdouglas13 - Lol on the timer. Great minds get distracted alike, apparently.... And yay for asparagus!!!!

I am laughing so hard Faye bc it sounds like something I did a couple years ago with beef stew....added everything to the slow cooker and didn't tune it on hahahaha

Tonight we are either going to go out and use our Carrabba's free entree coupon Since DH is home (Yay) or we will be having a pork tenderloin that I took out this morning with a green veggie and some rice and save the Carrabba's for later this weekend.

LOL about forgetting to turn on the slow cooker. My latest thing is to set a timer, but not hit the start button. Super annoying when the time matters for things like baking or rice.

Tonight is boneless chicken breasts - maybe breaded? - that I just got up and took out of the freezer. Sides will be roasted sweet potatoes and asparagus.

    We'll be doing frozen pizzas!

twinredheads - So true. You'll appreciate that I also forgot to turn on the slow cooker and realized it about an hour later. Maybe I am not meant to cook this meat. lol Enjoy your fish and taters tonight.

Congratulations Faye! Sometimes it's the little things :) Though no longer a practicing Catholic, I'm still pulled to go meatless on Fridays during Lent. So, the family has the choice of grilled salmon or fish sandwiches with sides of baked potatoes and steamed broccoli. Happy Friday everyone!

And I am happy to report that the London broil actually made it into the slow cooker this morning so we really will be having it for diner tonight! :-)

We are having London broil, roasted sweet potatoes, green beans and rolls.
