    Here's your chance JDouglas13 ... I recommend holding the chicken corn chowder recipe hostage with ransom being the oatmeal raisin cookie recipe. ;-) Obviously I'd love to see both recipes posted because they both sound delicious!

    I apologize if the cookie recipe was already posted and I missed it. I was away from the blog for a week or so twice since the December cookie exchange.

    Faye, you're welcome, but you haven't seen the mutant loaf yet LOL. ;) It looks a little funny, but will still taste good.

    DW was paying dearly yesterday for the white ziti I made the night before (so sorry Honey!), so she just had eggs and toast for dinner. I had Caesar salad. Tonight will be the chicken corn chowder, maybe with some rye toast.

    Tonight we are having 15-20 people over for dinner. My husband has gone back to college and invited his entire class over for dinner and games. We are having hot dogs and hamburgers. I'm cooking the meats and providing toppings and the guests are bringing pretty much every thing else. It should be a fun time and not too much for for us!

    Tonight we are having baked salmon, roasted sweet potatoes, steamfresh broccoli and fresh rye bread (thanks jdouglas!).
