No dinner plans tonight. DH is still stuck at work.

Side note on the PicSweet Butter Beans - we did not like them at all. Half of them ended up as mush and the other half didn't taste done in the same pot.

jdouglas I will try my best.......one of the ladies from church already told me that I am banned from helping, but if I chose to still do so (knowing me I will) they have a spot set up at the dessert table for me with a chair and I am in charge of only cutting pies and cakes :) pretty easy job for me, no temptation involved since I'm not a fan of the sweets.....now put me in front of the stuffing or cabbage......I may not be able to contain myself :)

Thanks Faye! I decided to do the cans and "doctor them up a bit" with the help of my MIL over the phone so we shall see how they come out. Sam's club has the oversized far of Bruce's yams for $4.38 each, gonna pick up 4 of those, that should be enough.

And DH would totally agree on the banana pudding for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between!!! He is so spoiled that whenever we go home for the holidays his grama AND his sister both make him his own "special bowl" of banana pudding all for him......who does he think he is LOLOL

I think banana pudding would make a perfect breakfast food! It's got milk, eggs, and fruit. What else could you ask for? LOL ;)

jdouglas13 - I was referring to banana pudding for breakfast since we were posting at 10 am. :-) Your salad sounds great!

Raesmom - good luck with the church function and the sweet taters!

Raesmom - don't overdo it, ok?!?!

Faye, is banana pudding seasonal or did you mean the time of day? Clearly a Yankee asking here. ;)

Dinner tonight is going to be a salad concoction of leftover grilled chicken, fennel, pomegranate, oranges, roasted sweet potato chunks and roasted broccoli, probably with some arugula. I'm making a pomegranate vinaigrette. Trying to get some good nutrients into DW before her treatment starts again next week, especially since I've been terrible about making dinner lately.

Tonight we are having French Dip sandwiches, broccoli and rice.

Garnertoy - I agree with Nanee Lion - it's never too early for banana pudding!

I'm on my way to your house Garnertoy. That sounds wonderful. I do love your menus. Enjoy!
