FAye - I am sorry the ones from Walmart were not good !
Did you tell the store ?? They will make it up to you - most stores are very good about that now days.
I got some from Walmart about 3 weeks ago that were SO good - I ate 2/3 of the box in one day !
Has anyone tried the bagged navel oranges that are BOGO at Food Lion this week ? I have been wanting some but all I have seen before this week have been kinda small and not so orange ..

We're keeping it really simple since neither of us still has much of an appetite -- egg salad sandwiches on rye toast.

You know, I don't often buy sandwich bread, and on the rare occasion that I do, you can be sure it is BOGO and I have a coupon. Well, today we had no bread, I had no energy or time to bake, so we had to buy a loaf and nothing was on sale. The Arnold bread was something like $4.59 a loaf!! The Pepperidge Farm was not much better at $3.79! I had a coupon for a free loaf of Pepperidge Farm bread, so I used that, but wow. It just boggles my mind the price for a simple loaf of not so great bread.

observant - warning - the berries were not cheap. But they were much better tasting than the ones I had bought at Walmart the week before. I am willing to pay a little more for better tasting produce....sometimes. :-)

    FAYE - ha-ha-ha !
Thanks - I will check Lowes Foods - strawberries are my "candy"

observant - I am going bunless with my salmon burger - so I can get rid of the excess buns I already have. LOL

Strawberries came from Lowes Foods - not on sale but the kids really wanted them and I am all for some fruit eating vs. junk eating. They are actually quite sweet.

Faye & Aschere - both sound tasty and refreshing today ! I throw a few shrimp in Ascherer's salad or have Fayes salmon burgers (minus the buns) and the strawberries and be a happy girl ! Faye - where did you get the strawberries ?? Walmart and Food Lion have had some nice ones at around $2 to $2 .25 for the large package in the last feww weeks but I did not see any at either store this week .
Tonight - ON my own so ?? Now that salmon and a loaded salad on my mind, some ideas are coming to me ... I also have a craving for noodles/cheese maybe mac & cheese or fettccini alfredo ?
