nakabi - I used the frozen Celentano mini cheese ravioli. I used shredded mozzarella and provolone slices on the top. Easy meal on a work day that everyone loves! That bread does sound wonderful! What a nice gift!

RFB - tonight is a good night for yummy soup.

Nakabi- how nice on the bread! And sounds like a perfect evening!

Faye- Mmmm... that ravioli always sounds good!

And I ended up making soup which is simmering on the stove, waiting for DH to come home. It's turkey meatball, asparagus (on sale at FL) and a bit or orzo pasta that I had left. I used the chicken broth that was cheap last week at HT (always great to stock up on!)

Faye-what kind of cheese did you use in your ravioli? I haven't made some in a long time; thank you for the idea.
Tonight we are having veggie and ground venison soup (carrots, green beans, tomatoes, onions, corn, okra, venison). All ingredients were free from hunting and this summer. One of our youths mom brought us 5 loaves of homemade bread so I'll use some for grilled cheese using Monterey, munster, and Colby cheese. The kids and I made pineapple cake cookies using the Christmas cookie cutters (none of us like regular sugar cookies) so those will be dessert. Watching The Very First Noel with the kiddos tonight. Fun!

Tonight we are having baked cheese ravioli with sauteed green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Sides include garlic bread, spinach salad and orange slices. I baked brownies last night so those are for dessert.
