Thank you all for your kind comments about my pork chop recipe! Please call me by my name, Pam, (a good old 1950's name). I will chatter you ear off about comfort food and recipes that are near and dear to my heart.

losltp & Faye- thanks for the kind words. I consider myself an okay cook in taste and creativity, but thats kind of you. I do enjoy cooking though and find it relaxing most of the time.
geanof20-i definitely try it!! maybe this weekend actually!
Raesmom-you really ought to get one! I saw one at Ollies here for $28. maybe check there?

All this talk of a pressure cooker means i may be getting one this holiday season....i follow the three strike rule....(strike one) my sister was just going on and on about how much she loves hers.....(strike 2) wolfgang was on qvc (or HSN) the other day selling one for $99.....(strike 3) my fellow blog friends are talking about it today.....yup pressure cooker here I come :)

more leftovers. (I love leftovers, means no cooking.)

I do have 80lbs of chicken breast to cut up and freeze though (zaycon foods) that I picked up today. Paid $1.49lb for the first 40lbs and 1.89lb for the second 40lbs. So I do have my work cut out for me tonight.

Never used a pressure cooker, but I love my pressure canner. I will never buy store bought chicken broth again. I make mine after we eat a whole chicken and with the leftovers/bones I make broth and then can it for later use. So much tastier than store bought.

The peach porkchop sounds good, but I can't have shake n bake so I would have to come up with my own coating since I am gluten free (which is not a problem).

Heating up one of my HT Stouffer lasagna eVic specials and serving it with a tossed salad and steamed broccoli. Taking the easy way out tonight after a long and trying day.

I'll add to the welcomes, coueypa! Thanks for posting the recipe!

Thanks to all for the pressure cooker advice and comments today. I have never used one, but they sound like a super piece of kitchen equipment.

And Nakabi - I agree with LOSLTP - you are a very creative chef.

Gator Girll - perfect night for Beef Stroganoff, which I love. That needs to me on my menu for next week.

You will love the taste -it is slower cooking for some items but worth it if you have the time.
I put everything I cook in the fire in cast iron pans or 2 to 3 layers of HEAVY duty aluminum foil .

Nakabi - you are too modest !
From what menus you share here , you cook healthy meals with interesting( some native to your homeland) ingredients - most of which you grew or "Mr. Nichols" hunted.

    Welcome couerpa ! !
Please share any recipes you want !
I for one love new suggestions and recipes - same old meals get boring
