Thank you Raleighfoodblogger! Those 50 cent Minute Rice cups were my inspiration :)

Nakabi- sure! Wasn't sure which one you wanted so here is the chicken tenders and here is the chili

Mothar1- what a great recipe creation... so creative!

    Great meal ideas tonight everyone!

Mothar - I love stuffed peppers and keep meaning to put them on the menu. Thanks for the reminder.

Nakabi - every time you post that you are having crepes, I start craving them! lol And we use a lot of Old Bay and garlic around here as well. My husband would panic if we were out of Old Bay, I think.

Tonight's dinner is up in the air. Will report back later when we have figured it out. :-)

Raesmom1612, you're welcome! I just figured a lot of other couponers have those Minute Rice cups in their cupboards now too! I could not believe how easy it was and how delicious it came out.

Mothar1~ thanks for that.....seems pretty easy. A friend of mine just asked me to make her some stuffed peppers too. Maybe ill try this recipe!

No idea whats for dinner tonight. DH works nights and he is eating yesterdays dinner for lunch today, which leaves Rae and i to fend for ourselves....maybe a pizza using Mama Marys crust with pepperoni (for Rae), cheese (HT b2g3), banana peepers, mushrooms and onions.

I made the easiest in the world baked stuffed peppers last night. I had two stuffed peppers to use and microwaved a cup of the Minute brown and wild rice, realized I didn't have any hamburger but did have the Italian meatballs (thanks to super doubles - yay!!), microwaved and cut up 3 of the meatballs and added a little Prego spaghetti sauce, and swiss cheese, heated it up and stuffed the peppers. It was so good and super easy. Just thought I'd mention another way to use those little rice cups :)

RFB-the chilli sounds great! And great tip on the chicken tenders.. care to share your recipe?

  • RaleighFoodBlogger Oct 24, 2014

I have a butternut squash that needs to be used up, so I think I'll do my Roasted Butternut Squash Chili... nice and spicy for this cool day!

Nakabi- your dinner sounds amazing! And that's funny on the old bay... I usually have a stash of it as I use it in my fried chicken tenders :-)

Crepes stuffed with Chicken, mushroom, and kale, mushroom risotto, grilled asparagus, and roasted brussel sprouts. Cheddar bay biscuits as well if I make it to the store for the old bay seasoning and garlic. (How is it possible I am completely out of those staples??????)
