My mother would spread wax paper or freezer paper across the kitchen table for my brother & I to roll out and cut cookies and things on when we we little - I still do it when I need a larger surface than my cutting board . wash the table and apply the paper while it is damp to make it stick .

Nakabi, I haven't made noodles, but I still want to try to make pasta one of these days. I get hung up by trying to figure out where I can roll it out with no kitchen counters to speak of -- just a big kitchen table. Maybe on the back of a half-sheet pan? I am sure you could do it with one hand tied behind your back! ;)

Back to liquid/pureed diet again. Making pea soup for DW. Not sure what I'm having yet.

I agree about loving no dishes!!

Whole wheat Pasta salad, Caesar salad, and baked beans. Friends will bring dessert.

Ditto on the LOVE for no dishes! LOL

I just put chicken breast in the slow cooker with garlic powder, pepper, generous amounts of McCormick Montreal Chicken seasoning and 4 tablespoons of Lawry's Herb and White Wine marinade. I'll serve it with saffron rice, Sister Shubert's dinner rolls and sauteed zucchini, squash, onions and mushrooms.
