Hope everyone had a great dinner...they all sound delicious!

I had a super busy day, so I was grateful for the Stouffer's Lasagna deal today at HT... I know... we did frozen food and no veggies, even lol!!! :-)

Tonight was supposed to be shrimp and crab cakes but I forgot to pull them out of the freezer. I know how to thaw the shrimp quickly but not the crab cakes. I guess they will be next weeks Friday dinner. Now to come up with another option for tonight.

jdouglas13 - that chicken and pasta dish sounds awesome! And I may need to pick up some of that HT shrimp this week. Thanks for the heads up. :-)

Last night we finally had Caesar salad with sautéed shrimp. The shrimp were the Argentinian ones Lowes had BOGO a while back, and HT has on sale as well this week for ~$7/lb. Those shrimp are really good. We may get a few more pounds to keep on hand while the price is right.

Faye, your BBQ chicken sounds really good, especially with the cole slaw. I saw a recipe this morning that would be great using the chicken in the slow cooker. It was a baked pasta dish (of course) that included cooked chicken, shallots, fresh spinach, ricotta, and parm. I may do some version of it for dinner. We have a big container of mixed "power greens" from WF that I need to use up and it would work well in this.

Me too! I'm thinking about it now. I just love it with ham, reminds me of Christmas dinner.

Lol, I know all about that. When I was carrying my daughter last yr, I sampled so much I had to find something else to cook.

jtlnsw - and it is soooo easy to make in the slow cooker! Let's just say that we had to sample the chicken a few times while pulling it. lol
