Nakabi - we e-mail each other once every few months. She is fine but focusing on her family and sewing. She is very involved in a number of charity organizations that she makes quilts, hats and blankets for (sick children and wounded vets, for instance). She has really found a wonderful way to use her amazing sewing talents. I'll let her know you asked about her, though. :-)

Faye-do you ever hear or see Nancy? I never see her on the blog :(

jdouglas13 - I have a large rosemary bush that you are welcome to have a clipping from to root. Remind me next time we meet at HT to bring you some.

We had chicken enchiladas last night so I think the teriyaki tofu with veggies and rice is on for tonight.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your menus. They look great!

jdouglas- thanks on the recipe! That pic cracks me up... finding Ocean is the best thing that's ever happened to us :-)

Barbiedoll- Bear will love his half of the sandwich!!

I am jealous of everyone's dinner tonight. I have decided to take advantage of Subway's $5 footlong sub since it's the last day. I'll take it home and share with my best friend, my dog Bear.

RFB, just checked out your recipe -- yum! But what really stole my heart was the pic of your puppy in his pink tee shirt. Sooooo cute.

Raesmom, your dinner sounds delicious! I love lemon and garlic with pork. Nothing bland about it.

Nakabi, enjoy your dinner with friends. Sounds nice. I am envious of your rosemary. I think this last storm may have killed my rosemary plant. :( I'm hoping once winter has passed I might be able to revive it with a little pruning.

Dinner tonight is probably leftover chicken in gravy with roasted white and sweet potatoes. I have some lettuce I really need to use up, so maybe salad. I actually have an avocado and tomatoes at the same time for once!

Nakabi- great! I think you'll really like the chops. And here's the link for the puffs. It's a very retro recipe, to say the least... and far from healthy, but again, it's a special treat for my DH :-)

Raesmom- That sounds so yummy! Mmmm... peach cobbler!!!

RFB-that recipe looks delicious! I'll save it and try it the next time we have lamb! Thank you! How do you make the cheesy chicken puffs?
Raesmom-your meal doesn't sound too bad:) I love anything lemon and garlic!

You ladies make my dinner sound so bland lol We are having left over lemon garlic pork loin, mashed potatoes, peas and homemade peach cobbler for dessert. I may do just a green smoothie for myself.....

Tonight we're doing my Cream Cheesy Chicken and Peas Puffs... I cooked/shredded up a few packages of chicken breasts I had frozen last night, and this is one of my DH's favorite meals from when we first met 26 years ago :-) Plus I need to rephotograph the horrible old photos on my blog lol!

Nakabi- That meal sounds delicious!!! I adore lamb, and grilled lamb chops for the first time for Christmas Dinner (it was just the 2 of us this year). Here is the recipe I used, and while it's a bit unusual, it was incredibly delicious (and so easy!) The addition of gorgonzola crumbles on it made it quite a showpiece on the table as well...
