jdouglas - so you went home and made that Bisquick streusal cake??! You'll have to post that recipe. :-)

And out homemade pizza also had a startling amount of cheese tonight. LOL

OK, well I haven't posted dinner in a while, so here we go. The past two nights we had lasagna. Simple, classic, Italian pork sausage in the sauce and a startling amount of cheese. Delish!

Tonight I made Caesar salad with the weekend evic from HT -- I got the romaine hearts. Yay! I boiled a little shrimp that I scrounged out of the freezer. Really, you never know what you're going to find in that thing. Dessert is the good part. I made a Bisquick double streusel coffee cake. I doubled the double streusel and added a pint of blueberries from the BOGO sale recently at HT just to make it healthy and so I could call it a serving of fruit! Ha!

Nakabi, I'm so sorry -- had to run out, and never saw your post. Let me know how our pie came out, and it you need any help, I will send you my recipe, with the understanding that I never make the same thing the same way twice! :p

Leftovers! Choice of beef tacos, 3 cheese lasagna or pepperoni pockets. Served with veggie of choice: green salad, carrots, green pepper or broccoli. I was a bit ambitious and made too many meals during the week that had leftovers :)

We are having homemade veggie pizza with one of the HT $1 pizza dough balls and sides of sugar snap peas and tangerine slices.

thanks for the tips jdouglas!!!! you have a good recipe I can count on? I found one in a cookbook, but if you have one tha is tried and true, I'd prefer using it! lol email me at and it will come to my phone so I can get the ingredients I don't have on hand during lunch. :)

You can do it Nakabi. I make LM pie every year for Thanksgiving. Keep it out of any drafts, and don't put it in the fridge, and make sure the meringue is touching the piecrust completely.

Leftover swiss steak, leftover rice, leftover sub roll, toasted. Might try to make a sandwich and melt provolone over the top and forget the rice!

Having my in-laws over and they requested grilled blackened mahimahi (bought for $3.99/lb!!!!), Israeli couscous, grilled asaparagus/mushroom/artichokes, steamed broccoli, & attempting to make a lemon meringe pie for the first time..should be interesting!

Tipsy Spinach Artichoke Chicken using BOGO chicken and white wine EVIC from HT. And spinach using the $1 off veggies mobile coupon from Target.
