Nakabi, I am so happy for your that your sister is here for the holidays! Being with family is wonderful.

Where in the world did you find all your ingredients? You're not exactly in NYC lol ;)

Have a fun girls night, Raesmom!

Dinner tonight is still a mystery, but may involve sweet potatoes... or not ;)

My sister is here for Christmas and has requested a taste of home. So now some good Ugandan food is on the menu. Nkoko (chicken in the world), matokye (steamed plantains), ground peanut sauce, & posho. (ground maize) The husbandand kids are quite excited since it's been a while since I made Ugandan food.

Although not on my original menu from earlier in the week, we are having turkey and Swiss cheese sandwiches for dinner on bolillo rolls I picked up at Walmart for $1.68 for a 6 pack. Side of pasta salad with veggies and pear slices.
