I am having a staycation for Spring Break! Our exchange student is flying to LA for the week to visit her cousins and with my husband's new job he can't take vacation time yet so I took the whole week off to enjoy the peace and quiet of an empty house :-)

My goal for the week is, except for one meeting, to not look at the time all week! I'll probably spend much of the week in my gardens pulling weeds and adding fresh mulch and planting the vegetables. I also hope to spend some time driving around looking at houses so we can move in a few months.

So while it's not the trip to the Caribbean that we were planning before the job change, it is a quiet week at home to do whatever I want and rest as much as possible.

With a toddler, newborn, new job for DH and no job for me.....we will be lucky if we get to squeeze in a day trip to one of NC/SC's beautiful beaches. I would like to dip baby ziti's toes in the Atlantic, but it may have to wait until summer.

Faye that is a beautiful pic!! I thought I recognized that red hair too ;)

I did not make the dresses. My mom got them for the girls a million years ago. But I have always loved this photo.

No spring break here. Just wanted to comment on the photo -- I was going to say I know that gorgeous red hair! :) Did someone make those dresses? They are so cute.

One of my girls was on Spring Break last week and one goes on break the week after this so we are not going anywhere. We are waiting until this summer to go to Colorado and I can't wait!

And I am working on getting a more clear version of this infographic to post. The one they provided is not easy to read.
