Weekly Wrap: Restroom wars return

Posted September 16

— House Bill 2 was once again in the national headlines, as both the NCAA and the Atlantic Coast Conference decided to move more than a dozen collegiate sports tournaments from North Carolina over the next year because of the state law.

Some Republican lawmakers have joined Democrats in calling for a repeal of the law, but legislative leaders haven't jumped on that train yet.

Meanwhile, presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton continue to drop in for North Carolina rallies. A Clinton event in Greensboro on Thursday marked her return to the campaign trail after three days resting at home recovering from pneumonia.

Let us not forget the McCrory well water scandal and coverup. So NC, take back your government by FIRING GOP & HIRING DEMOCRATs up and down the ballot. Repeal HB2 and investigate the water scandal properly after the GOP administrators are replaced and special investigators are assigned to get to the truth. Return to sanity, good government, stopping the divisive politics by VOTING for Democrats!!!

The GOP is the only thing saving families from having males in females bathrooms, shower rooms, and sleeping with their children on school field trips. Democrats started the war, along with a convicted child molester. Thank you Governor McCrory for standing up for us!!!!!!!

By the tally the state of North Carolina has already lost into the hundreds of millions of dollars from conventions, sports events, etc. Those folks are really getting angry that the GOP has harmed their families & jobs, lost business and income, econ development, tourism, and the cycle of incoming money circulating in communities, local business, sales and income tax lost, on and on. Vote out the GOP come November, repeal the HB2 law, return to sanity, regain prestige and business. Also investigate the well water poisoning, Governor, and his appointed managers. Vote Democratic!
