What's on your menu tonight?
On the menu this week we have:
BBQ chicken (chicken cooked in the slow cooker) and provolone slices on rye bread, slaw, steamed carrots
Breakfast for dinner: Southwestern tortilla roll-ups with scrambled eggs, cheese, turkey bacon, sauteed peppers and salsa. Side of corn.
Chicken tacos, rice, salad
Maybe Moe's on Thursday, 9/21 for free queso day!
Baked salmon, sweet potatoes, salad
Pasta and Chicken Primavera Recipe
In the photo above, you can see the pasta primavera I posted about last week. Below is the recipe link once again in case you missed it.
I loosely followed a recipe from Kraftrecipes.com HERE. I cooked the chicken in the slow cooker and then used the broth from the slow cooker combined with the cream cheese and parmesan to make the creamy sauce. I also used different veggies (mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, green pepper, tomatoes) and combined whole wheat pasta with regular pasta.
