Great dinners and menus everyone! Tonight I had a pretzel from Aunt Annies at the airport. lol

Ascherer - You're right about hydration! I seem to want water every few minutes, and I'm mostly indoors today. Hope your DH's schedule lightens up very soon!

JDouglas13 - Garlic bread prepared anyway is a hit with us ... and the shrimp scampi sounds perfect for a hot summer meal -- sure your guests will be pleased :)

GatorGirll - It all sounds yummy! Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches is always a hit with us.

For us, tonight will be grilled chicken breast & veggies gyros (the grilling was done early this morning so only a quick reheat is needed for supper - and will probably zap with the microwave). Our freezer/fridge is not cooling as well as it should, so we will likely have chicken breasts in a variety of dishes made from freezer stock this week. Looks like shopping for a large appliance will accompany my Super Double week.

*Tonight we're having pizza using some leftover spaghetti sauce, Italian sausage, turkey pepperoni, onion, green pepper, and fresh tomatoes as toppings. I'll serve a fresh salad on the side.
*Tomorrow we're have chicken lettuce wraps, egg rolls and egg drop soup with crispy won tons.
*Wednesday might be homemade tomato soup using some San Marzano tomatoes (or vegetable beef soup using left over pot roast) and grilled cheese sandwiches.
*Thursday will be chicken cordon bleu with roasted veggies.

No telling what will be done the rest of the week.

Crockpot dinner tonight-roast in one, green beans in the other and boiled potatoes this morning before it got hot.

Tomorrow-chicken of the week not sure. We have pork chops, more chicken and spaghetti sauce leftover as well.

It's a good night for an easy, no-fuss dinner. Raesmom, your chicken sounds good!

We're having a friend over for dinner tonight for shrimp scampi over pasta. I was going to make garlic bread, but I don't know... the thought of turning on the oven! Maybe it will be broiled garlic bread! LOL

Buffalo Brothers' Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls before trivia domination!

Tonight was going to be baked honey bourbon salmon that I cooked on Friday with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli. However, I think I've decided I am finally going to try my hand at making salmon quesadillas instead since the fish is already cooked and cooled and we have everything in the fridge to make them and enough dishes not packed :-) Dessert will be more ice cream!

This week's meals are up in the air but here's what I'm thinking....
Pork chops on the grill, baked beans, Fruit
Steak on the grill, loaded baked potatoes, garlic knots
    Sausage, egg, and cheese wraps
    BBQ chicken, pasta salad.

Chicken thighs for us but with it being so hot I think im going to throw them in the crock pot this morning with some cream of chicken soup and some cream cheese and serve over white rice with vegies. Too hot for the oven so no baked goods until after 8 pm lol. No menu for the week just yet, please stand by.........

No meal plan this week and no dinner plan for tonight. DH has a meeting tonight and it looks like it is going to be another crazy week at work for him. He already had 8 hours in by 3:30 am this morning and still has to go into the office today.

Happy Monday everyone. Please make sure to drink lots of water, stay indoors as much as possible, and look after your pets. We are stupid hot for another day.
