Hubby cooked tonight, fried pork chops, boiled potatoes and green beans. It was wonderful as I was so tired.

Tuesday, I'm thinking ham, potato salad and broccoli.

Wednesday. Smithfield sausages with peppers and onions on a bun, homemade French fries.

Thursday - not sure, Grandson has a ballgame away so maybe a sandwich with chips.

we are not eating very healthy this week but hey we are not hungry. Faye, have not started that diet obviously.

Got to go to bed. Have a good night everyone.

RAESMOM1612 I hear ya ! Sometimes a piece of meat is most satisfying .
We are not big pasta eaters -
mac & cheese once a month or less .
lasagna 2 or 3 times a year , spaghetti with meatballs or meat sauce maybe a little more often .
I do love fettuccini alfredo- I fix it for special occasions or when DH & I are alone .
Sadly - Baked Ziti was NOT a hit - the grand kids said the dogs wouldn't even eat it.
My crowd is pretty good about not complaining- some of the little ones ask for raw veggies as snacks ! There is always stuff to eat here - fruits and baked goods ( brownies, cookies and fruit breads ) -I just do not make a special dessert every day for dinner .

lol granoftwenty. I fell like having something warm in the tummy that is not pasta related :) DH and Rae eat fresh fruit as snacks throughout the whole day so I don't serve it with dinner. They would probably feel restricted lol

    RAESMOM1612
You read my mind !! LOL
With a few tweaks we are also having pork chops ( Kroger sale ) ,
scalloped potatoes (Kroger - russet potatoes 10lb/$2.99 , cheese recent Kroger sale and digital coupons) ,
and green beans ( local family market $.89/lb).
( I may change the potatoes to biscuits and make gravy ).
I don't serve dessert every night - some sort of fresh fruit is almost always available .

Tonight it's veggie pizza and salad. Nice and easy since I am not really up to any heavy duty cooking yet.

RFB - that toasted ravioli sounds fabulous.

ascherer - on the bright side - you get to eat whatever you want this week! :-)

I pulled out pork chops from the freezer so we will have that with Betty Crocker Au Gratin Potatoes and either carrots or green beans and more peanut butter cookies for dessert :)

Tonight we are having baked spaghetti with free noodles from the last HT super doubles, sauce on sale at HT, ground beef from the freezer, and cheese from the HT B2G3 deals. Sides are roasted asparagus, glazed carrots, baked apples, side salad, and garlic toast. All the produce came from Aldi sales over the last few weeks. The french bread for the garlic toast was on sale at HT months ago and I froze all the loaves to use later.
