Here's the place to share your meal ideas for the week.
Our meal plan for the week includes:
Monday: Chicken fajitas with sauteed red peppers (.98 each at Lowes Foods through 3/31), mushrooms ($2.47 for 16 oz everyday at Harris Teeter), onions. Served on Harris Teeter brand tortillas that were on sale for .99 for the package recently. Topped them with salsa from Aldi and romaine lettuce on sale this week.
Tuesday: Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad
Wednesday: Herb & garlic chicken breasts in the slow cooker ($1.99/lb at HT), sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, strawberries from Aldi
Thursday: Veggie Pizzas, steamed broccoli florets, cantaloupe (from Aldi for $1.19 each)
Friday: Dinner with my dad including beef roast in slow cooker with onions, mushrooms and carrots. Matzah ball soup and roasted asparagus on the side. Cheesecake for dessert. Yay for cheesecake! :-)
Cream cheese bricks are only .89 at Aldi through 3/31. Asparagus is $1.98 at Walmart this week.
