JDouglas - Happy 26+1 Anniversary. Your DW will love the cake.
Nanee Lion - Happy Birthday. Enjoy your dinner out.
TRichardson - Happy Birthday to your Granddaughter. Pork chops are a favorite in this house.

Tonight is whatever I find at Kroger that tickles my fancy.
Tuesday is gourmet buffet (leftovers from Monday, chicken Marsala from Saturday night's function, pizza from a birthday party on Sunday, or just sandwiches). DH has a double header softball game.
Wednesday is whatever I find at Kroger on Monday or in the freezer. My car will be in the shop overnight.
Thursday is gourmet buffet again. DH has either a double header or triple header softball game.
Friday is dinner at the Durham Bulls game. We are going with DH's mens group.

We are a host family for the Tournament of Stars baseball event so we will have 2 LARGE teenage boys in our house for the week. My family is so small that we triple our food budget for the week they are in town:). We will be having chicken enchiladas, spaghetti with meatballs, tacos, sub sandwiches, pizza, team potluck, food truck rodeo and on the last night we always take them out to dinner.

That's exactly what I do... I prefer to make it in the oven but since my husband has been dying for me to make it I decided to make it in the crockpot.

Happy birthday to Nanee Lion and TRichardson's granddaughter!

Meredith, I love sheet pan dinners. Easy, yummy, and no cleanup. Hard to say which part I like the best lol.

Faye, the pic of your mushroom quiche looks so good. Recipe please if you get a minute. I know you are working crazy hard to prep for SD this week. :)

DW and I are celebrating our 26 + 1 anniversary tonight with dinner out with an awesome Groupon I got over the weekend. 26 years together, 1 year wedding anniversary. I have a little surprise for DW... I got a small bakery cake that replicates our wedding cake and is topped with a mound of buttercream flowers that replicate the bouquet. To honor the day, we are finally getting our favorite wedding photo framed.

Tonight we are having company for dinner. I went ahead and cooked dinner on Saturday so all I have to do after work is pop it in the oven for 20-30 minutes to get hot again. I made a rotisserie turkey loin that was marked down at Kroger on Saturday for only $3! I did the one=pan recipe with potato cubes on one side of the loin and cut up broccoli on the other. I then sliced an entire stick of butter on top of everything and then sprinkled a packet of ranch dressing mix and a packet of Italian dressing mix over the whole dish. It smelled so amazing on Saturday night it was hard not to go ahead and eat it :-) We'll have fresh watermelon on the side and I'm making honeydew melon sorbet for dessert!

trichardson0621 - happy birthday to your granddaughter!! She picked a tasty birthday dinner!

ybaverage2003 - great assortment to choose from. I believe I would start with the blueberry crumble. lol

lindabates - thanks for sharing your menu for the week. I have never made chicken pot pie in the slow cooker. Will have to look up a recipe. Do you just top it with biscuits near the end of the cooking time for the crust?
