Brisket and sides (noodle kugel, latkes, carrots)

Here's the place to share your meal ideas for the evening or the week, post where you bought the ingredients frugally and even share a recipe if you would like.

If you need some inspiration for your own dinner tonight, this may give you some helpful ideas.

What's on your menu tonight?

For dinners this week we are having:

Monday: Brisket, shrimp cocktail, noodle kugel, latkes (potato pancakes that are kind of like hash browns), veggie tray and dip, cheesecake. We are having a family get together so I am sure there will be more food depending on what other people bring.

Tuesday: Leftovers, I hope!

Wednesday: Out with friends so it's fend for yourself night for everyone else.

Thursday: Turkey breast in the slow cooker, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans

Friday: turkey sandwiches (leftover from turkey Thursday night) on rye bread, pasta and steamed carrots

    Faye, your menu for tonight looks amazing! Yum!

    RFB, thanks for sharing the recipe. Proscuitto and gruyere! Oh my!! I will definitely have to put that on my menu soon. The mayo/mustard/panko or breadcrumbs combo is also wonderful on fish filets.

    Everyone has such great menus this week. We need to fire up the caravan.

    Last night's dinner was delicious. Surf & turf (filet mignon on the grill and butter-poached lobster tails), Caesar salad, crusty bread, and lemon meringue pie for dessert. I even remembered to add the sugar to the lemon filling this time! :)

    Tonight is dinner with friends. After that is TBD.

    Tonight: tacos with all the fixings
    Tuesday: grilled pork chops,baked beans, corn on cob, biscuits
    Wednesday: steak, salad, baked potato
    Thursday: shrimp scampi with garlic toast
    Friday: Cheddar wurst, fries
    Saturday: appetizers

    Tuesday tacos with all the fixins

    Wednesday creamy chicken with rice and veggies

    Thursday pork chops with Mac and cheese and broccoli

    Friday may be some take out....Chinese food, chipotle, dominos, the possibilities are endless lol

    Monday- leftovers! The Chicken Cordon Bleu came out great yesterday and I ended up using a different recipe. I changed it up a bit by adding prosciutto and gruyere, but wanted to pass on the recipe since the technique was SO much simpler (spreading chicken with mayo/dijon mix and sprinkling on toasted panko). Everyone loved it! And this would be a great technique to make simple chicken tenders as well! http://www.recipetineats.com/chicken-cordon-bleu-easy-fancy/

    Tuesday & Wednesday- One Skillet Turkey Meatballs and Lemon Rice with Alexia frozen seasoned green beans (we love these and they're on sale this week at HT).

    Thursday & Friday- White Turkey Chili with Homemade Bread and Salad
