raesmom1612 - I bet Rae loved the French toast! I have some wheat bread I got at Kroger on clearance for .59 that will be great with the .99 eggs from Aldi!

    Great meals this week everyone!

How did the weekend painting go Meredith and Raleighfoodblogger?

We had salads, pizza, and sauteed garlic balsamic asparagus and mushrooms for dinner. Went a little off-road from the planned menu but it was good!

Friends came over yesterday and made chicken tortilla crockpot soup. So family will have that with herb bread. I cannot have it due to the cheese so I am thinking some sort of fish.

I have no idea what we're doing yet for dinner tonight.

Last night we had breakfast for dinner. We made Belgian waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs. I love Belgian waffles!

Tonight is going to be stuffed peppers with rice, spinach, mushrooms, and crispy prosciutto, topped with parm. Caprese salad on the side with the B1G2 Pallazino fresh mozz I got at HT yesterday. I might just have a sprig or two left of fresh basil from the garden.

Tomorrow is going to be something with the BOGO bone-in chicken breasts from HT. Lindabates, your chicken and dumplings sound really good. Maybe we'll do that.

Raesmom, I was drooling over the French toast pic too. It might have to make an appearance on the menu this week with bacon on the side. We've been having the Boars Head bacon lately. It's really good, and often on sale at HT. I don't get a nitrates headache from it, and it's not too salty.

Was thinking about making the Freezer to Plate Teriyaki chicken on sale at HT a while ago but looked in the fridge and have the following leftovers: stuffed squash, baked ziti and beef stroganoff. Might do gourmet buffet instead :)

We'll be having London broil on the grill with roasted veggies- butternut squash, onions and zucchini. Served with French bread. I'm pretty excited for it!
