What's on your menu tonight?
Our meal plan for the week includes:
Meatless Monday: Bagels and cream cheese with tomatoes and onions. Sides of cole slaw and fruit salad (cantaloupe, raspberries and blackberries on sale at Harris Teeter through Tuesday)
Tuesday: Chicken Philly sandwiches with sauteed onions and peppers, sweet potato fries, steamed broccoli (chicken $1.99/lb at Kroger, carrots good every day price at Harris Teeter)
Wednesday: Beef stew in the slow cooker with potatoes, carrots, onions and mushrooms (beef stew bought marked down last week and put in freezer). Sides of rolls and clementines.
Thursday: Chicken alfredo, green salad, leftover rolls from night before.
Friday: Pizza night! Homemade veggie pizzas, vegetable tray with various cut veggies and light ranch dressing for dipping.
