All your meals sound good to me tonight but I would most like to join Twinredheads at the beach! Even with the rain, I bet it is beautiful.

I am just happy that I was able to eat a small piece of chocolate today with no problems! It's the little things. :-)

We had an eventful weekend and DH forgot that I made baked ziti on Friday so we *almost* went out to eat, but after what felt like an all day service I was craving my ziti by the time I got home. So we had ziti, a salad, hard boiled eggs and chocolate chip cookies. So not traditional :)

I am not sure what is Traditional Easter Dinner .
My family never had a set thing for Easter - sometimes ham , sometimes the usual Sunday fried chicken - both with various sides
My mother-in-law would fix a leg of lamb the years she cooked - the later years "RESERVATIONS" were the extent of her cooking skills on the holidays ( when it was her turn to "host") .
As for us this year, DH is working so we both have plates of : leftover roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy , green beans and angel food cake with strawberries ( roast , potatoes, strawberries and cake were from Kroger sale and digital coupons ' green beans were some I canned) .

Our Easter dinner was parmesan crusted tilapia, steamed asparagus, broccoli, and potato casserole. Delicious, if I do say so myself! :-)

Brown sugar ham, corn pudding, French green beans and almonds, Hawaiian rolls, no bake chocolate strawberry pie.

JDOUGLAS13- We are at the beach and are heading to a seafood restaurant for dinner. I served ham steak, scrambled eggs, fruit, donuts and turkey bacon for breakfast in honor of Easter. The most non-traditional Easter I've ever had :)

Dinner last night was meatloaf, smashed red potatoes and roasted broccoli. We haven't had that menu is a while. Tasty for a change!

DW went to HT for me yesterday and bought a frozen turkey breast, but I don't think it will be defrosted in time for dinner tonight. Plan B will be ham & swiss sandwiches on Kaiser rolls.

Anyone else doing a non-Easter meal tonight?

QueMaster2 - that is a wonderful menu and Blueberry pound cake sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing.

I think I will make some deviled eggs this weekend as well since I have about 6 dozen in the fridge right now. :-)
