World Beer Festival Raleigh - Celebrating its 12th year, this annual festival will be held Saturday at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Enjoy tons of beer samples, a cider garden and much more.
Cask on Fools - Kick off North Carolina Beer Month on Saturday at Crank Arm brewing. Starting at noon, there will be unique casks from local breweries around the state.
Rockin' Raleigh Spaghetti Dinner - The Raleigh Times holds this block party Saturday night starting at 6 p.m. There will be local music, beer and a spaghetti dinner from Gravy.
Mid-Town Square Spring Fest - Bond Brothers Beer Company will host its second Annual Mid-Town Square Spring Fest on Saturday. The afternoon will feature local artists, vendors, live music and food trucks.
Black Twig Cider House Anniversary - Head to Durham Saturday afternoon to help this cider house celebrate one year in business. There will be corn hole, ring toss, bingo and plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cider.
Honeysuckle Tea House Reopening Weekend - This Chapel Hill favorite will reopen on Thursday with new menu items, walls and faces. There will be a celebration and live music on Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
April Foods Day Food Truck Rodeo - Head to downtown Garner on Sunday to check out 14 food trucks and three craft breweries. There will also be live music, local vendors and a children's zone.
Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo - This rodeo will be held Sunday starting at noon at The Renaissance Center. There will be food trucks, a beer tent and a children's zone.

Flaming Lips - The psychedelic rock band is known for its its elaborate live shows, which often feature front man Wayne Coyne in a giant bubble. See them rock The Ritz Friday night.
Earth Wind and Fire - America's seventh top-selling musical group of all-time will be at Durham Performing Arts Center Saturday night.
Dinosaur Jr. - The original line-up has been together for 11 years and dropped their latest album last year. See them Saturday night at Cat's Cradle.
The Mix Up All Star Revue - Durham's hottest emerging artists will be featured in this revue show Friday night at The Bullpen in Durham.
Billy Strings and Forlorn Strangers - Last year, Strings earned the International Bluegrass Music Association's Instrumentalist of the Year Momentum Award for his guitar playing. See him play Raleigh Memorial Auditorium Friday night.
Hush Hush: Comedy Based on Secrets - Each month, join Hush Hush for late-night laughs and true revelations as one special guest shares a secret they never thought they'd say aloud. It all happens Friday night at Manbites Dog Theater in Durham.
Chad Daniels - Over the years, Chad Daniels has made appearances at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal in addition to the late night circuit (Late Late Show, The Tonight Show and Conan). See him Thursday through Saturday at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh.
The Grand Duke - This topsy-turvy musical comedy is about a troupe of actors attempting to stage a quiet coup to overthrow the Grand Duke, despite seeming to be unqualified to govern. Shows run Thursday through Sunday at Carolina Theatre of Durham.
A Cappella Fest - N.C. State's chapter of Mu Beta Psi hosts this concert Saturday night. All proceeds will go to VH-1's Save the Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to revitalizing music programs in America’s public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music in a child's education.

Art, flowers, running and more
Art in Bloom - This four-day festival of art and flowers runs Thursday through Sunday at the North Carolina Museum of Art. There will be more than 50 floral masterpieces inspired by the museum's permanent collection.
Rock 'n' Roll Raleigh Marathon and Half Marathon - Downtown Raleigh will be rocking on Sunday during this fourth annual race. Following the race, head to Red Hat Amphitheater for a free concert from the band Cracker.
Ignite Creativity Summit - This event is designed to empower creative people to think bigger, make connections and become familiar with the resources available to them, both locally and nationally. The event is happening Friday and Saturday at the Visual Art Exchange.
