Raleigh, N.C. — The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, so why not go for a run in a costume or your underwear.

Cupid's Undie Run - This fun run on Saturday will help benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation. Things get underway at noon at Solas with live music. The run starts at 2 p.m.

- Share to Care Fundraiser - This delicious and exciting event will feature a chef challenge, live music and entertainment. Executive chefs from eight area retirement communities will compete by preparing culinary creations connected to the theme of "Classic Hollywood: Black and White." Sunday's event starts at 7 p.m. at the Kerr Scott Building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Tickets are $60 and proceeds benefit Transitions GuidingLights, a support center dedicated to helping caregivers of elderly, disabled, or chronically ill adults.
- Blondes vs. Brunettes A Night to Remember Cocktail Party - This cocktail party and silent auction is Friday night at Common 414 in downtown Raleigh. Admission is $30 and includes two drink tickets and food from Sassool, Two Roosters Ice Cream and Qpresso Cubanos. Proceeds will benefit the fight to end Alzheimers.
Moogfest Disco Brunch - Moogfest will hold another Disco Brunch party noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at The Durham Hotel. There will be local DJs and discounted student tickets for Moogfest, which is happening in Durham in May. Admission for the party is free. Food and beverage prices vary. Reservations are recommended.
Lion King - See the Tony award-winning musical on stage at DPAC. The show started its run this week and will continue through March.
Dangling Loafer - This month's comedy show features “Earth’s Premier Science Comedian" Brian Malow, who has performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. The Dangling Loafer starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kings Barcade. Admission is $5.
WKNC Double Barrel Benefit - This show Saturday night at Cat's Cradle features Deniro Farrar, SkyBlew and Earthly.
9th Annual Wiser A Cappella Jam - Contemporary a cappella music is sweeping the nation. See the Durham Academy’s annual A Cappella Jam Friday night at Carolina Theatre of Durham. The show will help raise money for WISER, an organization founded at Duke that works to improve the lives of women in the Muhuru Bay area of Kenya.
Lucy Alibar - Academy Award-nominated Lucy Alibar, whose stage play was adapted into the award-winning film Beasts of the Southern Wild, will read from her latest work - a tale of a man, his family and his burnpile - at UNC Chapel Hill's Memorial Hall Friday night.
Kelly Holland Memorial Show - This annual concert is Sunday at Lincoln Theatre. Performers include Crush, Hank Sinatra, Bleeding Hearts, Saint Lukes Driffters, Automatic Slim, Jive Mother Mary and Travi Moss.
Yamato: The Drummers of Japan - The young men and women of Yamato turn the ancient Japanese art of taiko drumming into a heart-pounding spectacle of athleticism, precision and exhilarating musical expertise. See them Saturday night at N.C. State's Stewart Theatre.
Downtown Raleigh Home Show - HGTV's The Property Brothers will be on hand at the Raleigh Convention Center this weekend for this show featuring DIY interactive seminars and home improvement tips.
Draft Line Second Chance Prom - If you missed your prom or just miss the old days of high school, Draft Line Brewing has an event for you. Put on that old tuxedo or fancy dress for the Second Chance Prom Friday night. There will be live music, a food truck, photo booth and some sangria. Admission is free.
