RALEIGH, N.C. — Take a break from holiday shopping and enjoy these events!
Santa Charity Bar Crawl - Carolina Nightlife hosts this annual event that will help raise money for a local family in need. It all happens Friday night at 8 p.m. at Rum Runners. Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 the day-off. You can get a $10 discount if you bring a new, unwrapped toy. The crawl is only open to those 21 years and older. 
Ugly Sweater Party at White Street - Break out that ugly sweater for White Street Brewery's annual Ugly Sweater Party Friday night. A prize will be given for the ugliest sweater. There will be live music from Andy Coats and the Bank Walkers, food from Cokadoodlemoo truck and brews! The event is from 7-10:30 p.m. at the Wake Forest brewery.

Performances 

Pink Martini Christmas with NC Symphony - This is a hugely popular show is Friday and Saturday at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh. It is simply fantastic. 
Voices choir will present "A Starry Night" at the Hill Hall Auditorium at UNC-Chapel Hill this weekend. The show will feature music by Handel, Mendelssohn, Finzi and Rutter. Tickets are $20 for adults and $7 for students. Show are Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. 
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical - Bring the children to see this holiday classic on stage at Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh. The shows run through Dec. 24. http://www.wral.com/Music/Rudolph-The-Red-Nosed-Reindeer-The-Musical/14189676/
A Christmas Carol - Ira David Wood III's reprises his role as Scrooge in this annual holiday classic. The show runs at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium through Sunday. Tickets start at $30. 
Magical Winter Lights at Park West Village - This fantastic light show starts Friday night in front of Stone Theatre Park West 14. Shows will run nightly every 15 minutes with real falling snow! On the weekends, there will be free train rides, carolers, hot chocolate, and story time with Santa in the theatre lobby. Everything starts this Friday evening at 5:30 p.m.
