On stage

Dangling Loafer - Cliff Cash headlines a killer lineup that includes Adam Cohen, Sam Mazany, Drew Harrison, Grant Sheffield, Shari Diaz, Chris Stenta and host Shane Smith. Enjoy the show Friday night at Kings.
Third Eye Blind - For the first time, the band will play its debut album in its entirety. See them and Silversun Pickups at Red Hat Amphitheater Saturday night.

Biz Markie 80s vs. 90s - The rapper, DJ and actor will be spinning some of his favorite songs at The Ritz Friday night.
Rise Against and Deftones - These two rock bands play Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown Raleigh Sunday night.
Sidewalk Chalk - The Art of Cool presents this show Saturday night at The Pinhook. Sidewalk Chalk is the evolution of hip-hop, soul and jazz. This Chicago-based seven-piece band has toured internationally since 2014 and has shared stages with Snarky Puppy, De La Soul, D'Angelo, Questlove and Hiatus Kaiyote.

Mill Music Concert Series - Rocky Mount Mills will host this free outdoor concert series to celebrate the music genres that have influenced North Carolina’s musical DNA. Bring a lawn chair, pick up dinner from one of the restaurants on campus or bring a picnic and enjoy an evening of music and fun. Chatham County Line headlines Friday night's show.

Peak City Pig Fest - The sixth annual Bone Suckin' Sauce Peak City Pig Fest is Friday and Saturday in historic downtown Apex. This barbecue competition features a food truck rodeo, samples, demonstrations, pig races, a rib eating contest between the Apex Police Department and the Apex Fire Department and more.

Rock 'n Ride Raleigh - Tammy Lynn Center, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Triangle community, is bringing back its annual bike fundraising event Saturday at PNC Arena. Rock 'n Ride Raleigh is a 12-hour cycling extravaganza with food trucks, live music and more.

301 Endless Yard Sale - Johnston County and towns along US 301 will host the sixth annual “Endless Yard Sale” Friday and Saturday. The communities will join together with deals, antiques and more along a 100-mile stretch of highway between Roanoke Rapids and Dunn.
Cider Cocktail Class - Black Twig Cider House’s Mattie Beason is teaming up with Alley Twenty Six and TOPO Distillery for this cocktail class on Saturday.

Hell or High Water - The North Carolina Museum of Art hosts an outdoor screening of this film Friday night. Admission is $6 for non-members.
