RALEIGH, N.C. — Our best bets for this weekend include a little bit of everything:
World's Toughest Rodeo - Enjoy some family fun at the World's Toughest Rodeo Saturday night at PNC Arena. There will be bull riding, barrel racing and the return of Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey. Tickets start at $18.
NC Chinese Lantern Festival - It's your last weekend to see this collection of beautiful light sculptures at Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. The festival runs through Sunday.
Chili Throwdown - Southern Season in Chapel Hill is chili central Saturday. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., taste chili creations made by the staff and vote for your favorite.
Repticon - If you have or want a reptile, this event is for you. There will be pets, supplies, cages, merchandise and live animal seminars. The event is at Kerr Scott Building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults.
Shamrock Breakdance Competition - This competition features two-on-two battles with the winner taking home $150. It all goes down at Kings Barcade in downtown Raleigh at 10 p.m. Sunday.

Lewis Black - The comic brings his new show to DPAC Friday night. His tour is called The Emperor's New Clothes: The Naked Truth, so expect him to be full of love and hate in his signature style.
The Dangling Loafer - This monthly comedy show is Friday night at Kings Barcade in downtown Raleigh. The bill includes Jason Webb, Matt White and Pat McLeod. Tickets are $5.
Ragtime: The Musical - The Tony award-winning show plays Raleigh Memorial Auditorium this weekend. Tickets start at $27.
Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man - This romantic comedy plays Fletcher Opera Theater Thursday through Saturday.
NC Symphony - The symphony will present Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto Friday and Saturday at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh.
Rubber Peacock! - This glam rock extravaganza is Friday night at Motorco in Durham. Tickets are $15 and proceeds go to the new LGBTQ Center of Durham.
MLK events
Arts Tribute to Martin - On Saturday, the Cary Downtown Theater will host this event, which helps celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday. There will be live performances and a screening of the film "Selma."
MLK Parade - The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will be held in downtown Fayetteville Saturday starting at noon.
