RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh's African American Cultural Festival, a foam party at Lincoln Theatre, Homebrew for Hunger, First Friday and more make up our best bets for the weekend.

Festivals

African American Cultural Festival - This annual Labor Day Weekend celebration of African American culture is Saturday in downtown Raleigh's City Plaza. Enjoy art, music, dance, food and community at this free event.
Seafood Festival - Fresh seafood and live music highlight this second annual festival on Saturday and Sunday at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Tickets are on sale now.
Durham Food Truck Rodeo - Some of your favorite trucks will be serving at Durham Central Park on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Homebrew for Hunger - Entering its fifth year of operation, Homebrew for Hunger celebrates local home brewers and craft breweries. The event happens on Sunday at Carrboro's Fifth Season Gardening. Tickets get you as many samples as possible. Proceeds go to benefit a local charity dedicated to hunger relief.
Neuse River Brewing Labor Day party - The Raleigh brewery will hold this celebration on Sunday starting at 5 p.m. There will be live music and a fish fry.
Food trucks drew a crowd Sunday in downtown Durham.

Art, music and foam

Luke Bryan plays Coastal Credit Union Music Park Friday and Saturday. He will be joined by Little Big Town.
