Weekend Best Bets: Lonerider Showdown, BrickUniverse

Lots of beer events happening this weekend, but there is only one Lego fan convention going on.

RALEIGH, N.C.A look at what to do this weekend in the Triangle:
BrickUniverse 2015 - This LEGO fan convention is for children of all ages. See some amazing LEGO creations and build your own. It all happens Saturday and Sunday at the Raleigh Convention Center. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Beer and food:
St. Baldrick's at Ruckus - Head to Ruckus Pizza's locations in Raleigh and Cary from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday for St. Baldrick's events.
Wake Forest Food Truck rodeo - Head to The Renaissance Center in downtown Wake Forest for this food truck rodeo on Sunday. From noon to 4 p.m., there will be trucks on hand and a beer tent.

Beer month doesn't start until April but we have several events celebrating craft beer coming up this weekend:

Beer & Bacon Festival - This all-you-care-to-taste event takes over Koka Booth Amphitheater Saturday. Fifteen restaurants, 75 craft beers and 10 bacons from across the country will be on hand. VIP tickets are $69 and regular tasting tickets are $39 in advance and $45 on-site. Designated driver tickets are also available.
Lonerider Showdown - The Raleigh brewery hosts its annual celebration in Moore Square on Saturday starting at 3 p.m. There will be 16 casks and 12 different beers featuring some rare appearances and classic favorites. There will also be live music, food trucks and more. General admission tickets are $20.
Cardinal Directions Beer Festival - Steel String Brewery and Beer Study host this inaugural event in Carrboro Sunday afternoon. The theme this year is saison, so look for a lot of this traditional Belgian pale ale to be on hand. Tickets are $12.
On Stage:
STOMP: National Tour - If you haven't seen STOMP perform live, you really need to check them out this weekend at DPAC. The performers make music with brooms, garbage pail lids, pipes and whatever else is nearby. Tickets start at $25.
Katt Williams - The comedian known for his quick wit will take the stage at PNC Arena in Raleigh on Friday night. Tickets start at $27.
