Winter food truck rodeo in Durham - Durham Central Park is hosting the first food truck rodeo of the year on Sunday. From noon to 4 p.m., head out there and enjoy food from more than 45 trucks. There will also be live music and children's activities. Admission is free.
The U.S. Figure Skating National Championships wrap up this weekend in Greensboro. Tickets for individual sessions and packages are available.
Chili Throwdown - Southern Season in Chapel Hill will hold a Chili Throwdown on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Taste and vote for your favorite chili prepared by the staff!
Raleigh Are & Vintage Beer Tasting - The ultimate experience for any beer enthusiast. This event Saturday at 18 Seaboard will include 40 rare or vintage beers. Appetizers, soft drinks and water will also be served. All proceeds go to the nonprofit Pint for Prostates. Tickets are $65.
Beer Sunday - Crank Arm Brewery is kicking off Triangle Restaurant Week in style with live music, flights, samples and more on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Space is limited so you must RSVP. Tickets are $10. Proceeds go to V's Cancer Foundation.

Nice Work if You Can Get It - This 1920s-era feel-good musical plays the Duke Energy Center through Sunday.
Wicked - This popular musical wraps up its stay at the DPAC this weekend.
Steep Canyon Rangers - This popular bluegrass band plays Lincoln Theater Saturday night. Tickets start at $15.
Swing Sundays - Get ready to dance. Common 414 in downtown Raleigh will host its second Swing Dance Sunday featuring the Mint Julep Band. Music is from 7-10 p.m. and there is a $5 cover charge.
