The Comedy Get Down - Cedric ‘The Entertainer,’ Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, George Lopez and Charlie Murphy bring their comedy tour to PNC Arena Friday night.
Second City - The famous Chicago improv troupe plays Carolina Theatre Friday night.
Always...Patsy Cline - This production tells the true story of an unlikely friendship between a housewife and the legendary country singer, featuring unforgettable hits including "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces" and "Walking After Midnight." See it at Fletcher Opera Theater through Sunday.
John Heffron - The winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" plays Goodnights Comedy Club Thursday through Saturday.
Intimate Apparel - PlayMakers presents this compelling look at the joys and sorrows of an African-American seamstress told against the rich tapestry of 1905 New York.

Festivals and food

16th Annual African American Cultural Celebration - The N.C. Museum of History will help kick off Black History Month with this event on Saturday. The event will feature more than 75 musicians, storytellers, dancers, chefs, historians and more.
Bombshell Beer
Bombshell 3 Year Anniversary - The Holly Springs brewery will celebrate its birthday on Saturday with 12 beers on tap, specials releases and casks. There will also be food trucks.
Annual Robbie Burns Supper - Tir na Nog hosts this annual event Saturday night featuring live music from the band Wake and District Public Safety Pies and Drums.

Chinese New Year Festival - This family-friendly celebration will be held Saturday at Dorton Arena in Raleigh. There will be cultural performances, games, arts and authentic Chinese foods. Tickets are $5 in advance.

Disco Sweat XXXI - Wheels Fun Park roller skating rink in Durham hosts this party Saturday night. Tickets are $12 at the door and include skate rental.
