Weekend Best Bets: Brewer Olympics, Lebanese Fest

It's First Friday this week so don't forget to check out our guide to the fun in downtown Raleigh!

2nd annual Brewer Olympics - Watch some of the area's best brewers compete in eight events during this event at Raleigh Brewing Company. The opening ceremony is at noon and events run until about 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 to partition in the tasting portion of the event.

Lebanese Festival - This free event in Raleigh City Plaza on Saturday will feature authentic cuisine, Lebanese beer and wine, belly dancers and even the Easter bunny. The fun is from noon to 7 p.m.

Raleigh Easter - On Saturday, Moore Square will host this free celebration that will include dozens of egg hunts for thousands of eggs. There will be games, music, balloons and inflatables. The fun starts is from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Flora and Food Trucks - Enjoy some food from your favorite trucks while surrounded by beautiful blooms during the third annual Fairview Garden Center Flora and Food Trucks series this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Celtic Woman - Global music sensation Celtic Woman brings its 10th Anniversary celebration to DPAC on Friday night. This musical experience will feature traditional Irish standards, classical favorites and contemporary pop songs. Tickets start at $47.

Frontstretch Fest - A Southern celebration of horse racing, quality bourbon and craft beer, Frontstretch Fest will feature artisanal food and drinks, hand-rolled cigars, live music, interactive entertainment and more on Saturday at Carolina Horse Park in Raeford. Tickets start at $39 in advance.

St. Baldrick's - Ba-Da Wings in Raleigh will be hosting a St. Baldrick's event on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.

Sleeping Beauty - Raleigh Little Theater presents this production of the classic fairytale this weekend.
