RALEIGH, N.C. — There are a lot of events coming up in the Triangle this weekend, including some great stage productions. Here are our picks:

On Stage

Band Together - Band Together NC holds its main event at Red Hat Amphitheater Saturday night. Trampled By Turtles and The Devil Makes Three will headline. Tickets start at $20. Proceeds go to this year's nonprofit partner, Kidznotes.
A Midsummer Night's Dream - The Carolina Ballet continues its Shakespeare Festival with A Midsummer Night's Dream at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. Shows run through Sunday.
Beertown - Take a trip to Beertown. This part-civic ceremony, part-theatrical pageant plays Raleigh Little Theater through May 22. Beertown immerses audiences in an unconventional debate around the town's time capsule. Tickets are $22 for adults.
Beertown is coming to Raleigh May 6-22.
Purple Reign Tribute - Help celebrate the life and music of Prince at Southland Ballroom Friday night. The show will feature The Soul Psychedelique and special guests.
Buckethead - Buckethead is best known for his electric guitar playing and is considered one of today’s more innovative guitarists. He performs with a bucket on his head. See him Friday night at Lincoln Theatre.
The Little Mermaid - The Legacy Repertory Company presents this classic tale on stage Saturday at Carolina Theatre of Durham.
Six Sundays in Spring - From jazz and Motown to Celtic and reggae, there's something for all music lovers at this spring concert series in Wake Forest. This month's free show is Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the E. Carroll Joyner Park Amphitheater

Festivals and fun

Ritmo Latino Festival - Enjoy the sizzling sounds and flavors of Latin Culture with music, dance, arts, crafts and Zumba and salsa lessons. There will be soccer clinics and a play area for the kids. It all happens Saturday at Cary Arts Center.
Friday Night on White - Head to downtown Wake Forest Friday night for some great music by Brickhouse. The free concert starts at 6 p.m.
The Bazaar Craft and Art Market - Carrboro holds this free event in the town commons on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. There will be vintage vinyl grooves from Selector B Steady, food trucks and more than 50 craft vendors.

Raleigh Times Children's Carnival - The Raleigh Times in downtown Raleigh holds a children's carnival returns starting at 11 a.m. Sunday. Hargett Street will be closed to make room for bouncy houses, arts and crafts, face painting, games and balloon art by Cotton the Clown.
8th Annual Bee Ball - The Beehive Collective hosts this annual fundraiser and party Saturday night at Southland Ballroom.
Longleaf Film Festival - More than 40 films from across the state and around the world will be screened for the public during this annual film festival Friday and Saturday at the N.C. Museum of History. Admission is free. Seating is first come, first seated.
Front Porch Art Walk and Sale - The historic Oakwood neighborhood will host this annual event Saturday. Homeowners will host more than 40 local artists on their porches and in their yards.

Wandering Moose and Trophy Brewing dinner - The Wandering Moose food truck with be teaming up with Trophy Brewing for a beer dinner Sunday night at House of Hops on Glenwood Avenue.
Strawberry Jamboree - Head to the Carrboro Farmers Market Saturday for this celebration, which includes strawberry-themed children's activities and live music.
