Question: With current technology can the weather be changed? I remember foil dropped from a plane to produce rain.

Answer: Planned weather modification is also known as cloud seeding and precipitation management. Types of weather modifications include rain enhancement, snow pack increase, hail suppression, and fog dissipation. Pieces of foil were dropped from planes for radar jamming. Most cloud seeding is done with dry ice or silver iodide. Many weather modification companies continue to prosper across the US.
