It's hard to believe it's been 30 years. I remember when you joined Bob DeBardelaben and eventually replaced him. Back then you seemed to be bright and enthusiastic and seemed to really enjoy your work. That enthusiastic attitude has continued over the years.
The weather department has evolved into a world class organization and I'm sure you played a major part, something you should be proud. We North Carolinians want to express our gratitude for your amazing service to us for these 30 years.
The recent tornadoes show how valuable the WRAL weather center is to North Carolinians. When I could not continue to watch coverage on satellite TV I was able to watch LIVE TV on the web and track the storms
with the Dual Doppler on line as well. Hard to believe things have changed so much.
Bless you Greg.
