RALEIGH, N.C. — Friday's misty, drizzly weather will disappear on Saturday in exchange for sunnier skies, but rainy weather is expected to return on Sunday.

"There's nothing too outrageous in this forecast – just a little chilly and damp today and then wet again on Sunday," WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said. "We’re hoping for a little sunshine Saturday, (and) temperatures should warm up."

Friday will feel cold and raw, like Thursday, with highs in the low 40s. Temperatures will drop to the low 30s overnight.

The skies will clear on Saturday, bringing milder temperatures in the 50s. The rain could return as early as Sunday morning, although temperatures should warm to the mid 60s.
