The National Weather Service issues warnings when severe weather – such as a tornado, thunderstorm or flood – is imminent or already occurring. Warnings indicate an immediate threat to property and sometimes lives. When warnings are issued, you should have a high awareness of the danger and enact your safety plan if threatened.
