Raleigh, N.C. — The Triangle’s roller-coaster weather this week went from snow on Tuesday to temperatures in the upper 50s on Friday.
“What a great way to end the work week, and it has been quite a week, hasn’t it?” said WRAL Meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner.
Clouds will increase Friday night with a shower possible after midnight. The day’s lows will be very mild in the 40s.
Saturday will begin with mostly cloudy skies and the chance of a morning shower.
Highs will reach the 50s, but it will be the final mild day for awhile, according to Gardner.
Saturday night will turn noticeably cooler. Sunday’s highs should be in the low 40s, which will continue for the next several days.
