Early winter weather brings chilly blasts, snow
After a day of bone-chilling winds in the east and a light coating of snow in the mountains, North Carolina can expect more of a winter preview for the rest of the week.

Flurries fly, temperatures drop
Heavy snow showers were reported in downtown Durham, in Cary and in Raleigh Tuesday afternoon. An upper-level area of low pressure moving out of the area was "squeezing out some snow flurries," WRAL meteorologist Nate Johnson said.
