Raleigh, N.C. — Highs are expected in the upper 80s during the weekend with a chance of showers on Saturday, WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said.
An upper level trough of low pressure will create a chance of rain Friday and into Saturday. The trough should lift by Sunday allowing for drier weather.
Friday’s high temperatures are expected to reach about 85 with partly cloudy skies.
Lows are expected to dip into the mid to upper-60s overnight this weekend.
Delightfully mild weekend ahead
