This week's heat wave is bringing the worst stretch of heat to the Triangle this summer. But are we breaking any records?

RALEIGH, N.C. — This week's heat wave is bringing the worst stretch of heat to the Triangle this summer. The all-time high temperature recorded at RDU International Airport is 105 degrees. Thursday's high was 104, beating the previous daily record by four degrees. Wednesday also set a new record high.

Here's a look at this week's actual and forecast highs, and the records for each day.

Actual High: 97 degrees

Previous Record at RDU: 97 degrees (set in 1999)
