This week's heat wave is bringing the worst stretch of heat to the Triangle this summer. But are we breaking any records?
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — This week's heat wave is bringing the worst stretch of heat to the Triangle this summer. The all-time high temperature recorded at RDU International Airport is 105 degrees. Thursday's high was 104, beating the previous daily record by four degrees. Wednesday also set a new record high.
