Damage Reports

Lee County paid and volunteer emergency responders worked through the night dealing with fallen trees, downed power lines, flooded roads, and motor vehicle crashes. The first calls for storm related impacts occurred around 3 a.m. with a report of flooding at Brick Capital Court in Jonesboro. Approximately 10 additional flooding calls occurred. The first fallen tree report was received at 3:31 a.m. with a 14 inch diameter tree across Amos Bridges Road at Barretts Landing. There were at least seven more calls of fallen trees blocking roadways.
