In the event of widespread power outages that affect TV reception, WRAL-FM MIX 101.5 and  99.9 FM The Fan ESPN Radio will simulcast WRAL-TV's news coverage. The following area radio stations simulcast WRAL's 6 p.m. News:

• Laurinburg: WLNC 1300 AM
• Raleigh: WRAL 101.5 FM
• Roxboro: WKRX 96.7 FM
