There was flooding in Belhaven today at several locations downtown. Anywhere between a couple of inches to a couple of feet. It is now receding but there is still water in these locations. Downtown Belhaven is in extremely low elevation. Flooding happens often – they are used to it. No injuries were reported. Very limited power outages.
