Rain begins to arrive

The skies are already "looking nasty" in Oxford, according to GOLO member headlong.

Cathy in Princeton reported

A beautiful day up until about 11 a.m., then clouds rolled in. "It began to rain about 12:15 and a few steady rain showers in the last 30 minutes. The wind has been up a little more than usual."

WRAL.com's managing editor encountered some rain in Cameron Village in Raleigh around 1 p.m.

It has been so nice outside all day--cool, overcast and wonderfully breezy in Hope Mills, NC. We saw our first rain, very light and cool around 1pm, with another brief shower about 2:20. It's so pleasant on the porch--I dread the rain. Right now, we're enjoying the cool breeziness!
