I was wondering what our total rain fall at RDU was in 2008? Was it above normal?

MIKE MOSS SAYS:      William,    We closed out the year 2008 with 50.47 inches of precipitation at RDU, which is 7.42 inches above the normal of 43.05. This was an increase of 14.66 inches over 2007, when only 35.81 inches was recorded. Note that the standard deviation of rainfall about the normal at RDU is +/- 6.4 inches.
